240DL I used to play in a band with some of my best friends called Escape Grace. They replaced me when I moved to San Francisco and continued for the next 2 1/2 years with Derron Nuhfer (Less than Jake, Gunmoll) on bass. This past weekend, they played their last show as Escape Grace. I was thinking of going, but Gainesville is a tough place to travel to if you don't want to pay an extra $300 to fly in or fly to a city 2 hours away and rent a car. Anyway, I didn't go, but got word that it went well. They played all the songs from the first two EPs and Quicksand and Sunny Day covers. Cole recently moved to Pensacola, FL and bought a house for his wife and three pugs, and the other three (Jonathan, Ryan, Derron) have started a new band with Jason Rockhill (Unitas) on vocals. They are called Cutman. They are Awesome! Hopefully they make it out to the west coast.

That's a crying shame. My old blog was boring, and a coworker recently started his own while he is in China, and I was motivated. So to briefly explain the name of this blog, you should look here. Yes, I stole a line from a movie. I will use this place to talk about home improvements I'm working on, review concerts or albums I like or dislike, cool new technology, and maybe life in general with a wife and three pets. Ok, we are going to eat breakfast and then I am going to BFD.
